PEN magazine is a publication by the PCBs Elimination Network (PEN) containing information on the Environmentally Sound Management of PCBs and activities undertaken by the PEN.
The aim of the magazine is to provide readers with pertinent information on PCBs and to exchange knowledge and expertise related to the environmentally sound management of PCBs to achieve the 2028 goal of the Stockholm Convention.
The topic of the first issue of the magazine is "Inventories of PCBs – The place to start!". Since the establishment of the PEN in early 2010, the Secretariat has coordinated the production of relevant articles with PEN members, stakeholders and experts to produce the first issue. The members of the Advisory Committee assisted in arranging the regional features of the magazine. The 120-page magazine has been translated into the six official languages of the United Nations to support global action on PCBs.
If you are not a member of the PEN yet, please fill in a membership form and send it to pen@pops.int and be part of the activities.
