The purpose of this manual is to assist Parties to the Stockholm Convention on Perstistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in using the Electronic Reporting System (ERS) to submit their national reports pursuant to Article 15 of the Convention. The manual provides an overview of the key features of the ERS and explains the various ways in which users can submit information through the system. The ERS of the Stockhom Convention is available in different United Nations official languages.

Note by the Secretariat

As is mentioned in the note by the Secretariat on reporting pursuant to Article 15 of the Stockholm Convention (UNEP/POPS/COP.9/19), the annex to the present note sets out the draft manual for national reports under Article 15 of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants prepared by the Secretariat, in consultation with the small intersessional working group established by decision SC-8/17 to develop the manual. The present note, including its annex, has not been formally edited.
