National Reports

Pursuant to decision SC-12/19 , the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention decided that Parties shall submit their sixth national reports to the Secretariat by 31 August 2026 for consideration by the Conference of the Parties at its thirteenth meeting.

The periodicity of the national reporting is every four years and in accordance with a format as established by the COP at its first meeting (decision SC-1/22).

The COP requested the Secretariat to develop an enhanced version of the electronic system for reporting and to update of the questionnaires for the second round of reporting, taking into consideration the requirements of the effectiveness evaluation of the Convention (decision SC-4/30).

The Secretariat has further updated the format to include the chemicals listed in Annexes A, B and C to the Convention as per several decisions of the COP.

Sixth national report (due 31 August 2026)

Each Party has been requested to submit its sixth national report to the Secretariat by 31 August 2026 for consideration by the COP at its thirteenth meeting (decision SC-12/19). Access to the Electronic Reporting System for the sixth national report. The Electronic Reporting System will be available in all UN-languages by 15 January 2026.

The second national report was due 31 October 2010 (decision SC-4/30) with a deadline extension to 31 July 2011.
