The POPs Rreview Committee (POPRC) consists of 31 government-designated experts from Parties appointed by the Conference of the Parties for a term of 4 years.

Fourteen new members were appointed to the POPRC starting from 8 May 2008. The new appointments will fill posts on the Committee which had come to the end of their term. (ref: List of POPRC members, Decision SC-1/8 Rules of procedure)

The Secretraiat would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new members and to express our sincere appreciation to the outgoing members for their extensive efforts in providing scientific and technical expertise. We look forward to continuous collaboration with the new and outgoing members.
