At its fourth meeting, by decision SC-4/30, the Conference of the Parties, pursuant to Article 15, requested all the Parties to submit their second reports to the Secretariat by 31 October 2010 which was later extended by COP -5 by decision SC-5/16 to 31 July 2011 for consideration by the Conference of the Parties at its fifth meeting.
Based on the request made on Reporting by the Conference of the Parties in its fourth meeting, the reporting format used during the first reporting cycle has been updated to allow for the provision of consistent and comparable data to be collected and used for effectiveness evaluations pursuant to Article 16.
Online Electronic Reporting System
Following the request made by the Conference of the Parties, at its fourth meeting by decision SC-4/30, an enhanced version of the electronic system for online reporting has been prepared for the second round of reporting.
Each Party has been provided with two sets of user names and passwords through their official contact points (OCPs).
The user name and password created for each Party OCP can only be used by the OCP for the overall coordination of the reporting process, while the username and password created for technical personnel can be distributed to more than one person to allow collective contribution in the reporting. However, technical personnel will not be able to make the final submission of the form using their sets of user name and password. The final submission will be exclusively made by the OCP, through the use of its own username and password.
Parties who are yet to nominate their OCPs are requested to do so as soon as possible in order to access their online reporting forms. Information relating to the nomination of OCPs can be obtained by clicking here.
