The meeting brought together nominated experts on BAT and BEP and Toolkit experts to develop the proposals for the review and update of the guidelines and guidance for each area of work included in the workplan adopted by the Conference of the Parties through its decision SC-7/8, and initiated work on the joint procedure and terms of reference for the review and update in view of addressing releases from unintentional production and best available techniques and best environmental practices for the chemicals listed in Annex C and in Annexes A and B to the Stockholm Convention as requested by decisions SC-7/7 and SC-7/8.
Target audience
Experts nominated by parties and others to be consulted in the process of further development of the Toolkit and of the guidelines on best available techniques and provisional guidance on best environmental practices.
