Following the resolution II/4 of the Second International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM2) held in May 2009 in Geneva, organized under the auspices of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM), the Inter-Organization Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals lead by UNIDO and the secretariats of the Basel and Stockholm conventions have been invited to develop, plan and convene a workshop to consider issues associated with electrical and electronic products based on a life-cycle management approach. The workshop is planned to take place in first quarter of 2011. An overview of the objectives and scope of the workshop is available here (PDF).
