The rules
of procedure for meetings of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm
Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants were adopted by the first meeting of
the Conference of the Parties (decision SC-1/1) and, amended by the fifth
meeting of the Conference of the Parties (decision SC-5/1). The rules of
procedures apply to any meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the
Convention convened in accordance with Article 19 of the Convention.
Except
as provided in rules 28–31, the present rules shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to
the proceedings of any subsidiary bodies, subject to any modifications decided
by the Conference of the Parties.
